a look at what happened. We're in the
third inning. It's 13- nothing. It's a
1-1 count, and then it's a 2-1 count,
and then it's a 22 count. There's two
outs, there's two on, there's two balls,
there's two strikes. There are not two
eyes looking at the batter. And when he
gets told of this the first time, the
warning umpire steps off and you can see
he looks away when the umpire gives him
the signal that says hey you need to
make eye contact with the batter. He
doesn't see that he gets a warning cuz
he's trying to figure out what the delay
is for. So he looks to the outfield like
what's he talking about? And he misses
the fact that he just got warned. So
then we're in the batters box again and
the batter looks at him trying to engage
and umpire Jordan Baker's like hey
you're doing it again. That's two times.
That's a violation. This two- two count
is now three and two. And Yamamoto is
like, "What? Huh? What? What? It was on
on me. I did it." Okay. And his
manager's like, "Ah, forget about it.
It's 13- nothing. Who cares? 3-2 pitch.
