Vanderbilt wins the College World Series and celebrates, a breakdown
What Happened
Vanderbilt University has defeated their opponent to win the College World Series championship. The final out of the game sparks an eruption of celebration from the Vanderbilt players, coaches and fans. Vanderbilt pitcher Kumar Rocker is on the mound in the bottom of the 9th inning with his team holding a comfortable 6-run lead. He delivers a 2-2 pitch to the opposing batter, who hits a fly ball that is caught by Vanderbilt outfielder Isaiah Thomas. As Thomas secures the final out, the Vanderbilt dugout empties and the players rush onto the field, knowing they have just won the national championship. Head coach Tim Corbin is soon surrounded by his players, who are eager to celebrate with him. "Fuck outta here, water. I gotta go celebrate a championship," Rocker says excitedly as he joins the growing dog pile. The players enthusiastically embrace one another, jumping up and down and reveling in their accomplishment. Some players struggle to maintain their footing in the chaos, nearly slipping and falling. But they quickly regain their balance and continue the joyous celebration. One player even waits patiently for an opening to get in on the group hug. After the initial dog pile, the Vanderbilt players make their way over to the stands to thank the fans who have supported them throughout the season. Coach Corbin's parents are shown in the crowd, visibly emotional as they watch their son's team win the national title. Corbin himself tries to hold back tears, doing the classic "underbite" expression to prevent himself from crying. The celebration continues as the Vanderbilt players search for Coach Corbin, intent on dousing him with a celebratory Gatorade shower. When they locate him, they quickly surround him and drench him with the sports drink as he playfully tries to evade them. The coach jumps up and down excitedly, sharing in the unbridled joy of his championship-winning team. As the Vanderbilt players carry Coach Corbin on their shoulders, the camera pans around the stadium, capturing the mascots waving the school's flag and the elated fans soaking in the moment. It's a culmination of a remarkable season for the Vanderbilt Commodores, who have now earned the title of College World Series champions.

Click timestamps to jump to that momentAll right. Vanderbilt won the College World Series this year. Let's take a closer look
at the final out and the celebration that ensued. We got a 2 -2 count
runner on second, but it's a blowout. Six run game. One out. Camp's under it.
He realizes. He understands we are champions. He's excited. The star pitcher, he
says, fuck out of here, water. I got to go celebrate a championship. Catch it.
Catch it. Hell yeah. Woo. And they're jumping and there's going to be a big
dog pile, which always scares me because I was at the bottom of those ones
and it's fucking awful. Oh, little slippage right there. Came in too hot, dude. You
don't got your spikes on. All right. Good recovery in the pile. He's going to
get crushed. Let's add one more guy just for the fuck of it. Oh, thank
you, buddy. Here we go. We got this guy. We got this guy like, hey,
when you're done hugging, I'd really like a hug. Like when you guys are done
hugging though, can I get one of those hugs? Okay. Thank you. Big hug here.
Another big hug coming up with a little dipsy doodle. Woo. Whoa. Ooh. Well, extra.
Ooh. Sad scene at the gym. Don't cut to this. That's kind of embarrassing. Okay.
Great. Back. Thanking the parents and the fans that came. Mom and dad looking down
and dad doing the classic don't. Underbite not to cry. Do this. Do this along
with him and you'll, you'll feel what he's feeling. Oh, deep breaths. Underbite. Don't cry.
Don't cry. So proud. All right. Let's get coach. Anyone know where coach is? We're
going to dump this Gatorade on him. Hey, you know where coach is? It's that
way. See, he's right there. He's the one that looks just like your coach. Oh,
okay. Cool. All right. Let's get them. You ready? Here we go. We got the
body armor. Good plug. They're trying to hug the coach. He's trying to act like
he doesn't know it's coming. He knows it's coming. He's just playing along. A good
coach and they drench him and everyone goes crazy and he starts jumping up and
down. He's excited. He's excited. He's excited. They're excited. He's excited. They're excited. Everyone's excited.
Screaming, yelling, dancing, dancing, national champs. Had to win two in a row and they
did. Put them on your shoulders a little bit. Nice little Rudy moment. High fives
galore. And I think that's it. All the mascots waving the flag. Mascot, go home.
Go home.
