What Happened

In the bottom of the 10th inning, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies are locked in a tight contest. The Dodgers have taken an early lead, but the Phillies are fighting back, with runners on base. Real Moto, the Phillies' ghost runner, is standing at second base as Fred Mann steps up to the plate. Phillips, the Dodgers' pitcher, delivers a cutter high for ball one. The next pitch is in the strike zone, and it's a 1-1 count. Phillips then comes inside with a little squib shot, which is fielded by the Dodgers. They attempt a jump throw to first base, and Freddy tries to nab Real Moto at third, but he's safe. However, Real Moto leaves the bag and is tagged out, much to the delight of the Dodgers' pitcher. Next, Justin Turner of the Dodgers makes a jump throw to third base, and Freddy comes off the bag, knowing there's no shot at getting the runner. Turner then acts like the ball got away from him, and the runner, Romulo, falls for the deception, leaving the bag and getting tagged out. The Phillies' third base coach is quick to react, almost inserting himself into the play to try and stop Romulo from falling for the trick. As the game continues, the Phillies' Quinn hits a single to right field, and he advances to third base. Mookie Betts of the Dodgers makes a strong throw to try and get the runner, but the risk of allowing the trail runner, Quinn, to advance to second base comes into play. Quinn is now the go-ahead run, and Alec Boehm steps up to the plate for the Phillies. Boehm battles through a tough at-bat, fouling off pitches and working the count. A young Phillies fan in the stands is passionately cheering him on, biting his mask in anticipation. On a 0-2 count, Boehm lays off a slider, much to the delight of the fan. He then puts the ball in play, and Muncy of the Dodgers bobbles the easy play, allowing Quinn to score from second base and give the Phillies the win. The summary showcases the thrilling moments, strategic decisions, and the impact of the fan's enthusiastic support, painting a vivid picture of the game-changing sequence of events that unfolded in the bottom of the 10th inning.
