Judge hits his 60th and Yanks walk off with a grand slam, a breakdown
What Happened
In a game-changing moment at Yankee Stadium, New York Yankees star Aaron Judge steps up to the plate looking to hit his 60th home run of the season. The crowd holds their breath as Judge steps in, cameras ready to capture history. On the first pitch, Judge absolutely crushes a fastball, sending it soaring into the stands. The ball bounces off the railing, and a fan in the front row narrowly misses catching the prized memento. Another fan in an away jersey quickly scoops up the ball and tries to make a swift exit, but the euphoric crowd makes it difficult. As the crowd erupts in celebration, Judge's teammates in the dugout react with pure elation. Catcher Jose Trevino and outfielder Harrison Bader share an emphatic high five, while manager Aaron Boone urges Judge to take a curtain call, though the modest slugger is hesitant at first. The camera captures a heartwarming father-son moment, as a young fan and his dad embrace, overjoyed by witnessing Judge's historic blast. Despite the solo home run, the Yankees still trail by three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning. But the home team is not done. First baseman Anthony Rizzo doubles, and second baseman Gleyber Torres draws a walk, setting the stage for designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton. On a 2-2 count, Stanton absolutely crushes a changeup for a walk-off grand slam, sending the Yankees dugout into pandemonium. The players sprint out of the dugout, swarming Stanton at home plate. Rizzo, his helmet flying off, leads the charge, while Judge and Stanton share a moment of pure elation, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of joy and camaraderie. The entire Yankees team celebrates wildly, with pitcher Nestor Cortes even tossing his gum high into the air, much to the delight of the ecstatic fans. As the game-winning run scores, the Yankee Stadium crowd erupts in a frenzy, some with tears of joy in their eyes, having witnessed an unforgettable moment in franchise history.

Click timestamps to jump to that momentwe had one of the more incredible nights
in Yankee Stadium history that I've seen
I think you can say of all time it'll go
there because Aaron judge is stepping up
to the plate at 59 home runs on the
season looking for his 60th everyone's
got their cameras out this guy's got two
cameras out it's brought to you by
DraftKings first pitch fastball center
cut right down the middle judge is
thinking oh man
I don't know if I'm gonna get another
one of those that was a good pitch next
one slider low doesn't Flinch slider
Schneider low doesn't Flinch fastball up
top now 3-1 that's a fastball count give
me that first one again
give me that first one again come on
gets it and absolutely hammers it for
his 60th home run on the year it's
coming down it bounces off the railing
there's a guy in the very front row and
a black shirt there if he could have
stopped that maybe if he had a glove on
the ball's his but nope it bounces way
up in the air into the bleachers
tracking it over that group of people's
hands this guy just misses it it lands
by that dude's foot gets scooted over
here and now this guy in the away jersey
he's the one that's going to end up with
it's pretty funny because he goes down
to grab it there's a Mad Dash number 99
judge is gonna wait for help like hey
hey hey I don't over to the camera I
don't know what he's waving at but our
guy at this point he has it right here
and he's looking at his friend he's like
we got to get out of here he's like I
gotta get out of here look at it look at
his in his hand it's in there and he's
gonna show his friend right there he's
like I got it and then he realizes don't
show people it tucks it back in and his
friend helps them and they get the hell
out of Dodge and everyone else is still
looking still in the pile I would love
to see the shot of when these guys
stopped looking and came up empty and
realized oh
someone must have got it but we don't
have that shot that kid got it he got
some tickets and stuff judge 60th home
run look at this I mean just such an
easy swing gentle backdrop no real
celebration this is my favorite reaction
this kid just oh and grabs his dad's arm
and his dad grabs his arm and they're
just watching it together and it goes
out and they're just going crazy and
then they're gonna hug and I just think
his beautiful father-son baseball it's
kind of what it's all about for me I
love it the whole crowd just going nuts
getting their videos in filming it
dugout's reaction everyone double hands
up Savvy and higgy are just gonna have a
perfect high five they just turn to each
other and Bam perfect Harrison Bader
it's his first day with the Yankees
he's taking it in like oh my God my
first game and they gave judge a curtain
call and his teammates make him go go
take it he really didn't want to do it
because they're still losing by three
runs it was just a solo shot
he's like I don't know about all that
but I appreciate it
he wants to win the game he said he he
was up he's [ __ ] me
I won't do that maybe he wants to do it
I don't know what he said there but he
was up earlier in the game with bases
loaded and didn't come through meanwhile
it's still the ninth inning announced a
three-run game and Rizzo shoots that one
perfectly to the Gap so he gets to
second base glaber Works a walk so now
it's first and second and then Josh
Donaldson's gonna come up and he's going
to flare this one I don't know how it
doesn't get caught but it doesn't get
caught so now you got Bases Loaded the
go-ahead run at the plate glaber's
clapping
savvy's super excited marwin's got his
glove on always ready to go and it's
like are we getting double magic in the
ninth here first pitch to stand is a
strike the crowd says oh that was the
ball but that was a nice pitch that was
a strike that's a ball low and now this
next pitch
some people may call that might be off
two in one fastball fouls back into the
UMP now it's 2-2 Stan's been struggling
with high velocity this season and they
decide to throw him
a change up in the zone
which kind of shocked me and look what
Stanton does with this just an absolute
Line Drive tank job for the walk-off
Grand Slam look at his hands a circle
change
is not a lot of movement to it in the
zone and just boom
stands menacing looking huh he's pretty
mean looking guy
but a joyous celebration and this shot
of the celebration is so funny oh not
this one this one's my favorite shot
Rizzo helmet off let's watch it back
Rizzo number one in the air helmets
coming off don't need it clears the wall
yeah that's such a cool shot but and
then this one Stanton running by and now
look at judge and Stan look at the eye
contact judges given stand and doing the
same pose running by each other like bro
like two two like uh like lovers like on
separate trains like the end of the
movie and they're like decide to get
back together and they're going to each
other but then they see each other on
the trains they're like I'm coming to
you I'm coming to you just just a lot of
love and excitement in this shot just a
lot of longing in the eyes oh dude I see
you at home plate all right can't wait
and then it's absolute pandemonium
I mean these these Yankees players are
just losing their minds they're just
running around touching everyone pushing
everyone screaming you have to see
Rizzo's face look at Rizzo's face
is a little kid has ever because Rizzo
scored so he's just been at home plate
he's just waiting for everyone else to
score Stanton throws his little pad in
the air and the two oswaldos jump for it
and Cabrera knocks it away and then
Nestor with the gum now this is risky
because Nestor tosses the gum so high in
the air
and Stanton's still going to break down
into the gritty which delays him getting
to home plate which could really mess up
the gum toss but Nester threw it so high
that they're actually okay now look
they're telling them do the degree to do
the gritty and you can see Rizzo being
like come on do it do it this is just
such a cool shot everyone going nuts
look at Rizzo again
just like a little kid man that's that's
really cool uh okay so now look so the
gum goes up here
and perfect gum toss by Nestor
unbelievable that he did that such hang
time he outlasted the slo-mo dance move
perfect throw by Nestor who's been on
gum duty all season he's kind of
perfected it's the Yankees 15th walk-off
they have 16 now by the time recording
this and you know Garrett Cole's got to
get his ass slaps in and then stand very
diplomatic with his high fives he gets
Trevi he gets Rizzo he gets Peraza he
gets Cabrera he gets higgy he gets tilo
he gets anduahar he gets Mar when he
gets ikf he gets glaber and a little
head Pat from glaber and then the two
oswaldo's in the background like I can't
believe we're here they have a little
moment all right then jamo tion's coming
for his high five but Boone totally
snakes it look at that Boone just
totally snakes it and jamo credit to him
hangs tough he doesn't walk away he
keeps that left hand in the air he says
let's do it and Stanton gets to him
look at that reaches back gets to him
everyone gets a high five everyone's
excited this kid's taking a video
hey this guy's got tears in his eyes I
can't believe I just saw that oh my God
and to be honest that's kind of how I
felt I did not realize I was gonna feel
so emotional about this and wrapped up
but that's what passion and baseball can
do for you and this guy goes Line Drive
yeah and the guy says yeah I didn't
think it was going to get over the fence
it got way over the fence this one was
brought to you by DraftKings thanks to
DraftKings response from the breakdown
that was an awesome awesome night and uh
I don't know just really cool
