Pirates fan takes home run ball to the nuts, a breakdown

"That kid didn't want to interfere with the ball," the announcer notes. "Got to protect yourself though." The fan's pained expression and the comical reaction of those around him create a memorable moment that will undoubtedly be the talk of the stadium long after the game has ended. Despite the unfortunate incident, Santana's home run gives the Pirates a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the second inning.
